June Rivas shared the best photo series on Facebook after she stated that her boss changed her office’s dress code to ban “cultural” headwraps. Previously, she was also told that ponytails and pigtails were not professional, even though their dress code stated, “No dress code. Just be clean and pressed.” This is how Rivas usually dressed for work:
After her boss released a new memo with a more strict dress code with “no straps, hats, sandals, cleavage, back out, lace, and cultural head wraps,” Rivas reported her boss to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, but decided to comply in the meantime in the best way possible – with cosplay!
