After the show Yahoo News caught up with Rihanna’s mother, Monica Braithwaite, to ask about the development of Rihanna’s creative streak. But the interview went left when reporter Faran Krentcil inexplicably threw Drake into the mix. Rihanna has kept quiet about her private life, but there are rumors the two are dating. Nonetheless, Braithwaite took umbrage at Drake being brought up on her daughter’s big day.
[Krentcil]: Last question, but it’s not about fashion. Is Drake a nice boy?
[Monica Braithwaite]: That’s not a question for me! That’s a question for Rihanna. Or no, not even her. That’s a question for Drake! Why would you ask me that at a fashion show?
Still Krentcil pressed…
[K] I know. I’m sorry. It’s my job to ask questions. Plus I’m dying to know.
[M] [laughing] Actually he’s a nice boy. I’ve met him and I think yes. But it’s not a question for me!
Yeh, it’s your job to ask questions… but shouldn’t they be relevant? And after all this, Yahoo went ahead and put Drake in the title of their article.
