When did you and your husband meet?
P: My husband and I met in the summer of 2010 at a place we both had been working since 2008. However, we didn’t know the other existed until that “appointed” time. 🙂
When did you get married?
P: Our wedding was on 9/14/2013 in Nashville, Tennessee.
How was your big day?
P: INCREDIBLE! It was truly our dream come true. The feeling of knowing that we became ONE and the fact that nothing else mattered made the day magical.
How did you wear your hair?
P: Tapered fade that came to a “V” point at the nape.
What was your process of deciding how to style you hair?
P: There was no process. I was considering having weave in the top/front just to have a different look, and so that my veil would have something to hold on to. However, during the planning phase, my fiancé [at the time] asked me how I was planning to wear my hair. When I told him what I had been thinking of, he looked at my hair and said “I really really love your hair the way that it is. I know it would look wonderful on our wedding day too!” And that’s when all other ideas went out of the window.
How did your family/husband/guests receive your hair at the wedding?
P: Everyone, including my husband, were SHOCKED! I had been saying that I was going to wear weave on the wedding day. So when my husband saw me for the “first look”, he was blown away. He loved my natural hair and cut. He was very happy that I chose to be ME on our day. He kept saying the entire day that I was “the most beautiful girl in the room. In the WORLD!” Our family/friends/guests were all shocked and gave rave reviews about my cut and how gorgeous the natural look is.
