Lately, my hair and I have been at odds. Just days after washing, it turns dry and brittle and I’m nowhere near here for it. So, I decided to switch up my routine and try the Oyin Handmade line, which I always heard was so fab.

I think me and Oyin Handmade’s Hair Dew are soulmates. I adore the lightweight consistency — it makes for great daily use. It is heavy enough to seal in moisture, but doesn’t weigh my hair down. The product is water based (c’mon moisture!) and loaded with goodness, like castor oil, olive oil and aloe vera gel. It works well for midweek re-twisting or even twist take-down. Plus, it smells like buttery-sugared deliciousness. (sigh)
The Juices & Berries Nourishing Herbal Leave-in Tonic had me at the scent, too. It’s like I have to remind myself that these products aren’t edible. With the fruity mix of vegetable moisturizers and herbal essences, all it takes is a spritz and fluff to enhance my second-day ‘do. It immediately rehydrates my hair and makes it feel uber soft.
Valued each at $13.99, I’m loving that the Oyin Handmade line is now more accessible since its launch into Target! Yay to revived hair!
